What actions were taken this week?
This week we interviewed 10 people each. I wasn't able to interview a total of 10 people, but I feel that I was able to get some good feedback from those I did get to talk to. I got a few ideas that I haven't been able to share with the group yet. We also shared a customer profile in class and had some excellent feedback from that. I feel like we were being pushed in just a slightly different direction than what we were already starting with. I feel that a lot of our business model is correct, we just need to get rid of some fluff and focus on the things that are truly key to what we want to do. The things that are right were more validated, and those that are more fluff are seeming more and more like just fluff. Some struggles I have had this week are with keeping everyone on track. We are becoming good friends which makes it very easy to slip into a more relaxed meeting and it is sometimes more difficult to pull it all together and get what we are working on finished. I did think of a few ideas in class because of our activity and a few things that I read about this week. A business that I read about started with $40. She bought 50 bracelets and then sold them to people and realized that they would sell very well. She then bought more and more until her business grew to revenues of over $50,000 in just 2 years. We could do this same thing where we buy something smaller at wholesale price and then sell it there instead of only solely counting on people bringing in products to sell.
